We visit 6th. form students and ask them a lot of questions.
- What is a vegetable garden?
- What do you need to start a vegetable garden?
- Is it difficult?
- Do you use pesticides or fertilizers?
- Which vegetables can we find in your garden?
The girls and boys in 6th. form answer our questions.
They tell us they don't use pesticides or fertilizers because they are keeping an organic garden. They use compost.
There are some helpers who water the plants regularly.
They show us some of the pots they have in their classroom.
We confirm some of our ideas. To start a vegetable garden you need soil, seeds, water, sunlight and pots. They made the pots with plastic bottles and glasses.
Now we are ready to start our own vegetable garden!
